Chemistry
Boyu joined the Loo lab in January 2020. She received her B.S. in Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. During her undergraduate study, she worked in Dr. Stephen Jacobson's lab, studying N-glycan profiling using microfluidic devices combined with MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry and various mechanisms responsible for B. Subtilis population heterogeneity. Upon entering graduate school, her research interest shifted to structural biology, more specifically structural biology of protein complexes using native top-down mass spectrometry. Outside the lab, Boyu enjoys eating, shopping and watching dramas.
